with the compliments of

1. Place one white ball on the spot nearest the player and a red ball on next spot. Then the red skittle on third spot and two yellow skittles on the spots wide of 100 hole.

2. The break is started by playing the white ball from the "D" on to the red with the object of potting either or both WITHOUT knocking down a skittle.

3. All scores must be made after hitting another ball - except for the last ball.

4. SCORING: Red balls count double throughout a game; White balls count according to their marked score.

5. If both balls are holed from the break position or if both balls are holed during game, the break is continued from the break position - as at start of the game.

6. If at any time during a game, a player shall hole both the white and red ball from break position 3 times consecutively into any holes, they shall, at their fourth stroke from their break position, be barred from holing more than one ball. Should the player hole both balls a fourth time consecutively (in any holes) that breaks score shall be erased.

7. If no balls are potted, a break is finished. The next player takes a new ball from the ball rack and the break continues until the player ceases to score or makes a foul shot.

8. FOUL SHOTS: these fouls erase the entire score or the break score

a) Failing to hit a ball;

b) Any ball returning over baulk line or into the "D";

c) Any ball mounting a cushion or falling off the table;

d) Knocking down a yellow skittle;

e) Knocking down a red skittle.

Note: An (e) foul erases the entire score made by the. player (and partner) from the start of the game. If however a yellow skittle is knocked down and a ball then knocks the red skittle down, only the yellow skittle penalty shall be paid.

9. When no more balls are available in the rack, play is continued by taking the ball nearest to the player and playing it from the "D"

10. After the bar has dropped the game shall be continued in the same manner as before the drop of the bar, with the exception of the last ball.

11. The last ball must be played from the starting point, off one side of the cushions and directly into the 100 or 200 hole. This shot shall count 100 or 200 if played with a white ball and 200 or 400 if played with the red ball.

12. Each player has the right to play the final shot until the ball is potted, if on this shot however, the red skittle is knocked down, that players entire score is erased.
